With Summer right around the corner everyone is starting to snap out of hibernation mode. Camping trips, barbecues and cider in the sunshine replace watching endless TV series on Netflix and ordering takeaway from Deliveroo only to get stressed that it's 15 minutes late because the driver probably stopped off for a single. However, we have a couple of months left of Glasgow parties in store before we break into festival mode though. Here's what is coming up in April:

08.04.16 - In Two Minds : Session 3 w/ She Bang Rave Unit X Frogbeats
@ Mango, Glasgow, 11pm - 3am, £5 otd

Powered by the 527 and Samson Sounds systems

Our new series of club nights based at Mango on Sauchiehall Street have gotten off to a fine start. The first two sessions in March saw residents 527 join us for the launch night and Tribal Pulse bring their own brand of hypnotic psychedelic techno to the melting pot. The vibe has been set and you can now find us fortnightly (until the 20th of May) playing alongside some quality crews we've come across at Scotland's wee festivals. Cosy vibes, quality sound systems, familiar faces and good tunes. We've got the weekend sorted, mate.

Joining us for Session 3 are the brilliantly bonkers She-Bang Rave Unit making their Glasgow debut. Perhaps one of Edinburgh's best kept secrets, this all-female collective are seasoned clubbers united by a mutual love of Detroit techno, house and electro. The Guardian touted the group as one of their 'Top 5 Acts to See at New Year' and their quirky, upbeat sets of party/ghetto techno, old classics and rare gems are guaranteed floor-fillers. If their live mix from Audio Soup festival last year is anything to go by, this one is going to be MESSY.

The 'Fools Disco' is another brand spanking new club night we're getting on the go with local outfit Intersound. The nights co-founder and resident Pete Tolhurst promises this to be an "up-beat, funky collaboration with fun being the main objective." 'The Many Merry Men' - consisting of Tolhurst (Intersound), Sombadi, Estir (Intersound) and Mundisco (Intersound) - will be making their debut under the moniker. The group are not new to this, however, having played together at many-an-after-party, Inn Deep and our 4th birthday bash at Mango back in December. A finely tuned machine ready to roll out the funky fresh floor-fillers, world-beats and intoxicating house and disco rhythms. You'd be a fool to miss it. Or if you go?

*As Intersound is a charity night proceeds from this event will be going to the chosen charity, Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH).

22.04.16 - In Two Minds : Session 4 w/ Unity Sessions Takeover
@ Mango, Glasgow, 10pm-3am, £5 otd

For Session 4 we hand the reigns over to the trusted hands of Unity Sessions. The lively music and arts collective from Cumbria have been tearing up the underground scene of the North West of England with their beauty of a sound system in tow. They will be bringing their rig up north of the border for their highly anticipated Glasgow. Expect a healthy good mash up of bass, garage, afro-beat, jungle and dnb. This mix by their resident DJ Zom-B ought to get your juices flowing.

And last but not least, the Scottish festival season OFFICIALLY KICKS OFF (YAAAAAAS!). After a successful launch last Summer on the idyllic setting of the Isle of Arran, Deoch an Dorus is back with a new (but just as beautiful) location and even more formidable line-up. We will be joining the likes of Samson Sounds, The Girobabies, Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5, Sweet Aerobics and many more acts for a dram and a dance. A humble wee festival with an intimate crowd, it really is an ideal way to start off the Summer. The event is currently sold out, but if you keep an eye on the Facebook event page nearer the time you might get lucky.

See you on the dancefloor!
