Our cultural preoccupation with the ‘90s is reaching an all time high – living out the faded memories of our formative years through obnoxious tie-dye, camouflage and two-piece sportswear ensembles, we long for an era where the Sega Megadrive reigned supreme and Space Jam was the best film ever witnessed by human eyeballs. Pop-culture aside, the ‘90s saw electronic music expand in to new horizons; acid house took the UK by storm - facilitating the rise of illegal raves - and the convergence of new cultures within our fair island resulted in the production of home-grown sounds unlike anything heard before. What are we talking about? Hip-Hop and Jungle.
We are teaming up with the Handpicked collective for an Art School takeover like no other.
